A Summer Morning in Clarks Yard
And again ~ I was calling it AGAPANTHUS but have now looked it up on Wikkipedia and have got it right
Farewell to my dear little radio alarm clock which has woken me with Radio 3 at half past six every morning since 2000 but has now given up the ghost
Six years ago Goiwan brought me an armful of corn which fills two vases ~ one on the bureau, the other in kitchen ~ and Ellen brought me bunch of poppies to enhance them though could not find RED ones ~ after all this time still gorgeous
Gowan's corn with Ellen's poppies ~ my photos are hit and miss as I cannot SEE what I am filming ~ I aim camera in right direction and hope for the best !
Took them out in yard to shake dust off them ~ so graceful, the heavy ears of corn ~ and it must be at least six years since Gowan brought me them !
Honeysuckle that has suddenly appeared at corner of high wall, exactly above our buried time capsule !
The Jasmine Hedge
Thanks to Richard's expert pruning the jasmine on the far wall is smothered in flowers and I can actually smell its sweetness from the front door,
especially after rain !
